Toyota Corolla Cross 2020 Review

 

As you guys would have heard about the launch of new Corolla model in the Pakistani market by Toyota Indus Motors which is known as TOYOTA COROLLA CROSS.  Only CBU unites will be imported in Pakistan as it is a unique model, and the car is also launched in international market.

About:

Talking about the car, it has a very beautiful shape and comes with curves on all the body which makes the car look more unique and different as compared to rest of the corolla launched ever since. The car looks more like a hatchback and suv type something as far as we can tell by the currently leaked pictures of the car. You can put this car in the Sedan category.

Engine Features

The car has a 1798 cc engine. It has a hybrid engine which produces 168hp. Due to its 1798 cc engine it can be counted amongst the cars which are around 1800 cc in Pakistan, like Altis Grande, Civic X. and because of the hybrid engine the car will produce more torque and has a better pickup and start as compared to the rest of the cars. Moreover, the car has also a CVT transmission, which is a good thing and is also very common in the latest upcoming models of every brand.

Safety Features

Talking about safety of the customers in the car, well you came at the right place and you are paying the right amount for the right product.  The car has 7 Airbags, yes you heard it right. The car has 7 airbags, that is all for your safety. Means even if you get into an accident the chances of fatality are reduced to a huge extent. You do not get to have these many airbags in any car launched in the Pakistani Market. It has one airbag on the drive side, one on the passenger side, near the driver, on the pillars, sides and curtains too. Isn’t that great? But if you look at the top-notch variants of car launched in Pakistan, they only have 2 airbags max. Some of them do not even have 2 airbags. Furthermore, all variants of Corolla Cross will be having ABS brakes, HSAS which is Hill Starting Assist system, parking sensors and obviously passenger seating sensors.

Exterior

Moving on towards the exterior of the car, it has very stylish LED headlights and have day light running DRLS too. But the simple variant only has simple halogen lights. The door handles of the car will be the same color as of the body color. The side mirrors are retractable. And do not forget about the signature thing in Pakistani cars now a day, guess what? It is the Shark Fin Antenna on the roof.  One more unique feature which only comes in the top line variant is the sensor in the trunk door, which is called kick sensor trunk door.

The top line variant of the car will also have a full moonroof, also cruise control for driving assistance and a rear auto viper. But the simple variant will not have cruise control. The car has 2 different driving modes which are Sports + Eco mode. Eco mode is for driving slowly while you are driving with family and is fuel efficient too, meanwhile sports mode is for fast driving and racing purposes. The car also has a push start button for ignition.
