Detailed Information:

Moving on to the detailed information of the car, I will start with the fuel Average which is 22-23 litres per km within the city with AC. If you drive with a light foot on the pedal, the average can rise upto 30 km/h on a smooth drive. Aqua was also the award-winning car by Toyota in 2014 because of its amazing fuel average.

Also, when it was launched in Japan, Aqua was the most selling car in that year in Japan.

I will also add my Personal Experience about Aqua when I took my Aqua to Khunjerab border too, it was a good experience. I didn’t face any problems like heat-up issues, tire burst, suspension problem throughout the whole trip.

Talking about ground clearance. Well that’s an issue in this car. If you are driving around with 2 people in the city, its not an issue. But when you are travelling with 4 or more people in the car, it brings problem. It becomes difficult cross speed breakers in Pakistan, as in it will touch the breakers from the bottom. When you are travelling with family, it’s still manageable. But when you are travelling with 4 adults, it’s a huge problem when it comes to ground clearance. Some say put 16 Inch alloy rims it will solve the problem, but it effects the suspension. Another solution to this problem is that you can put on spacers, it might solve your problem but that will affect its performance when you go on high speed, it loses stability and grip too.

In its league, it’s the fastest car. It has a really good pick. I myself has experienced it. Hybrid motor gives a bit advantage too. It has a really good stability and a very efficient braking system.

There are no such known faults in this car. There is only one thing which you need to worry about is the battery of this car, which is normal and genuine. Obviously when any specific motor or electric car is used, it also has a life too. So, the main hybrid battery issue which is raised by most of the people now a days, can be solved by replacing the battery which you have to replace after every 250,000 kms driven by the car. If you don’t change this battery, it might affect the performance and fuel average of the car.

Prices:

Its Competitors are Toyota Vitz and Honda Fit hybrid. Vitz is not much of a good car as comparison to Aqua, but Honda Fit can be compared to Aqua.

The starting price of Aqua is around 20 lacs which is similar to that of Honda City (Pak variant) and Latest Cultus (Automatic), also you can get Corolla Xli in the same or with an addition of 100k, and you would have a bigger car.

The above 3 mentioned cars, they don’t have any Unique feature which doesn’t comes in Aqua. But even the features that comes with the basic variants of Aqua, they aren’t in any of these cars available.

Comparatively parts of Aqua are cheaper as compared to Honda fit and other imported cars. Although its spare parts are easily available everywhere in different markets at very cheap rates. You can get cheap spare parts of this anywhere in any city.

Price of average service: Oil change and air filter. That’s around 2000 Pkr – 2500 pkr which is the same as that of corolla and other cars.

Registration cost of this car in Islamabad is 62,000 pkr. Yearly token tax is 5000 pkr.
