Suzuki alto 2020 Review

 

Overview:

This is the first ever 660 cc Engine car locally manufactured in Pakistan apart from this car all the other cars are imported from Japan in this exact same engine capacity. This is the 8^th generation of Suzuki Alto worldwide and 4^th variant in Pakistan the best part about this car is its engine and the other advantage that this car has is the one year warranty given by the Suzuki manufacturers since it has been manufactured in Pakistan. Cars imported from Japan they do not get the warranty which this car manufacturers does.

Exterior:

The unique selling proposition of this car is its fuel economy What’s missing though in this car is the fog lamps neither does it have fog lamps it doesn't even have the space to insert aftermarket fog lamps but overall packages become more appealing there are very few changes on the outside if we compare it with the Japanese version you get a new bumper new grill an Amber turn indicators Suzuki logo has moved on from the grill to the upper part of the bumper

Interior:

The inside you now get a dark create theme for the dashboard along with on the equipment front you get a basic audio system  power windows power steering and the front seats have good support for the pack but undersized support could have been better visibility at the front is good thanks to the thin A and B things are very compact.

The rear headroom and shoulder space is good but knee room  could have been a bit better there’s good space for two large passengers to sit next to each other things also get slightly claustrophobic because the rear windows are small in size you now get a fixed headrest on the rear seat there are no storage spaces at the rear at the front you get magazine holders on each door pad there’s a 1 litre bottle Holder ahead of the gear lever 

There is a spacious trunk it has an immobiliser key And build quality of the interior is far better than the previous models of Suzuki Which is a huge improvement the dashboard comes in 2 tone colour.

Our Verdict:

 There is a small set back in this car that is there is no gauge for cars temperature it does show the warning when the car is over heated but there is no gauge which indicates if the car is being overrated or not it has got an analogue climate control system as opposed to the Japanese version of this car which has an automatic climate control system.

 It does not come with the rear view camera what it does have is an infotainment system which comes with Bluetooth screen mirroring USB and SD card options In the Japanese model of this car it has traction control headlight adjustment eco idol system Which the Pakistani model does not it does however have retractable mirrors power windows Dual airbags And power steering
